Born out of a dream to share the beautiful things she finds on her travels and holidays in the South of France, the dream became a reality on Saturday 8th May, when Bex Osman hit the big green button to set her vintage business live online...
Becoming A Reality
For the past year, Love of Lemons was just an idea, parked on the shelf because of lockdown, but itching to become a reality. But enough was enough, Bex couldn't wait any longer. The last couple of months saw the brand build, a beautiful website created and excitement grown on social media for its big reveal. Bex really had been teasing us all!
Once it was released into the world, the reaction was wild. Bex is still in shock! Ever since, the orders have been flying in and everyone's responses have been so positive that it was clear that people really did want to back a business that reused old fashion, injected new life into a pre-loved item, all the while reducing the impact that the fashion industry has on the planet. Winner!
The Low Down
Bex Osman's Love of Lemons is a uniquely curated edit of vintage clothing, accessories and lifestyle goods, all handpicked by herself with the idea of reusing these star finds and inviting people to add them to their wardrobes. Her motto is 'REWORK. RESTYLE. RELOVE' and the aim is to bring the old back to life alongside the new.
Mixed with a considered range of sustainably produced brands too, Love of Lemons, based in Cornwall, UK, will be opening up a store on the Duchy of Cornwall's estate of Nansledan later this year for visitors wanting the full vintage shopping experience. Watch this space!
